The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid is distinguished by two remarkable engineering attributes: its featherweight 99 kg kerb weight (making it the lightest 125cc scooter on sale in India) and its unusually wide 110/90-10 rear tyre. While most rival 125cc scooters use a narrower 90mm rear section, Yamaha fitted the Fascino with a broad 110mm rear footprint. This wider tyre provides tremendous straight-line traction and high-speed cornering stability, which harmonizes beautifully with the instantaneous torque boost provided by Yamaha's Smart Motor Generator (SMG) electric hybrid assist.
